Club Turramurra is celebrating a proud moment as one of its own, Katy Fletcher, has been recognised with the 2025 Pride of Workmanship Award, presented by the Rotary Club of Turramurra.

The prestigious award, guided by the theme “Do it once. Do it well. Build a Better Australia,” acknowledges individuals who consistently demonstrate excellence, dedication, and integrity in their work.

Katy’s recognition is a testament to her outstanding approach, attitude, and commitment to her role at Club Turramurra. Her professionalism and positive impact are evident not only within the club but also in the broader community.
​
The Pride of Workmanship Awards Program, established in 1976, provides an opportunity for managers and organisations to promote the values of quality work and job satisfaction. Businesses nominate employees who exemplify the program’s ideals of doing a job well and taking pride in their craft.

The presentation ceremony was held at Club Turramurra on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, where Katy was proudly supported by her partner Pat, Club Manager Sarah Young, Club Turramurra Directors — Sue Hamilton, Ian Pendlebury, John Devlin, and Pauline Donald, and Life Member Geoff Hamilton.

Club Manager Sarah Young said, “Katy is well known and well regarded by the local community. Local community groups regularly comment on how she goes above and beyond to meet their needs. We have incredible staff at Club Turramurra, and that’s something we really pride ourselves on. Katy’s recognition reflects the dedication and passion that make our team special.”
